Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid plans on checkseo.in, operated by Sunlight IT Web Solutions Pvt Ltd. Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay. By purchasing a paid plan you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.

1. Free Plan

CheckSEO offers a free plan that lets you evaluate the platform before purchasing. We encourage you to use the free plan to confirm the service meets your needs before subscribing to a paid plan.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed for the cycle shown for the plan (for example, monthly) in Indian Rupees (INR), plus applicable taxes. A paid plan remains active for the period that has been paid for. Plan features and limits are shown on your Billing page.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid plan at any time by emailing support@checkseo.in from your registered email address. On cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the period already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free plan and its limits. We do not auto-charge for a new period without a new payment.

4. Refunds

As CheckSEO is a digital service that provides immediate access to scans, reports, and features, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. However, we will consider a refund in the following cases:

Duplicate or incorrect charge: If you were charged more than once for the same period, or charged in error, we will refund the excess amount.
Service not delivered: If a technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing the paid features for a sustained period and we are unable to resolve it.
Within 7 days: If you raise a request within 7 days of a charge and have not made substantial use of the paid features, we may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund.

Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, change of mind after substantial use, or for downgrades.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@checkseo.in from your registered email with your account email, the payment/transaction ID (shown on your Billing page), the amount, and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once initiated, refunds typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank or card issuer. Any applicable taxes are refunded in line with the original charge.
